21 Apr KBVE New recommendations pertaining to your practice
KBVE sent these most updated recommendations this morning. You are receiving this message as current licensee or certificate holder of the Kentucky Board of Veterinary Examiners, or as a pending applicant. To learn more about the COVID‐19 response in the Kentucky Veterinary Community, please visit the Board’s website at www.kybve.com/Kentucky‐Veterinary‐Covid‐19‐updates.html.
Please see the Memorandum and Order from the Chairman of the Board and the Executive Secretary of the Commonwealth.
KVMA & KBVE will have this on our Covid resource page on our respective web-sites soon. Please pay special attention starting on Page 4 – Order and Guidance. To be clear – restrictions are lifted as long as licensees comply with these items. The new Order does NOT limit services to “essential” or “emergency”. Licensees may proceed with veterinary services of any kind as long as you abide by the Order delineated in Item 1 (protection of public health), Item 2 (social distancing), and Item 3 (conserving consumable PPE).
